At CAT North, students transition from classroom learners to skilled professionals in their chosen fields. Our programs provide hands-on, real-world experiences that help students develop marketable skills, earn industry-recognized certifications, gain college credits, and explore meaningful career pathways.
Whether students plan to continue their education through college or technical school, pursue an industry credential, join the workforce, or serve in the military, CAT North offers a vital step toward a successful future.

CAT North serves students in grades 9-12 from eight northern Anne Arundel County high schools. With over 20 diverse career programs, students can explore a wide range of industries -- from health professions and construction to culinary arts, automotive technology, and more. Each program combines technical skill development with academic rigor, helping students identify their passions and pursue a path that fits their goals.

Beyond the classroom, CAT North emphasizes personal and workplace readiness. Through job shadowing, clinical experiences, guest speakers interviews, and work-based learning, students connect with instructors, mentors, and industry professionals who help refine their skills and prepare for success in today's workforce.
