Graphic Communications

This pathway equips students with an opportunity to develop creative and technical skills essential for careers in visual design and digital media. Students learn the principles of design, color theory, and typography while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The first course introduces foundational concepts and basic digital imaging techniques, allowing students to explore creative processes and begin building a professional portfolio. The second course advances these skills with more complex design projects, emphasizing photo editing, vector-based illustration, and preparation for Adobe Certified Professional credentials. Throughout the program, students engage in real-world applications, career awareness activities, and portfolio development, equipping them with the knowledge and experience needed to succeed in fields such as graphic design, advertising, marketing, and digital media.
