Academy of Health Professions
The Academy of Health Professions prepares students interested in various healthcare careers. Students begin this program in their junior year. Level 1 students learn medical terminology and practice hands-on skills, such as CPR/First Aid, taking blood pressure, and providing patient care. In level two, students learn the Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, ​and/or Pharmacy Technician curriculum and have the opportunity to earn certification in that field.
Students now have an opportunity to apply for the 1 semester class, Point of Patient care, in Academy of Health as a 10th grade student
