This is an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Program by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
The Diesel Power Technology program prepares the student to service and repair a wide variety of diesel powered vehicles and equipment. Coursework provides training in: the inspection, diagnosis, repair and service of diesel engines, brakes, suspensions & steering; electrical/electronic systems; heating, ventilation & air conditioning
preventative maintenance inspection; and hydraulic systems.
Career opportunities includes position as diesel technicians and specialists, large engine technicians as well as business ownership.
