Associated Certification Available-ASE, NASSA, MACS, S/P2, AC, Delco, Refrigerant Handling; CCBC Articulated Credit Available by review-AUTO 126, 131, 141, 171 (18 credits); Articulated Credits Available by review at Penn College and various technical schools.

This is an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Program by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).

In the Automotive Technology course students learn how to inspect and adjust automobiles with a focus on diagnosis and repair of engines, brakes, power train, suspensions and steering, wheel alignment, fuel injection systems, electrical systems, air conditioning and computer control panels.

Career opportunities include positions as auto repair technicians and specialists, insurance adjusters, automotive design and engineers, and business ownership.
