In this program basic drafting techniques and architectural drawing are studied, including use of computer-aided design (CAD). Basic drafting encompasses orthographic projection, sketching, ANSI standard lettering, blueprint reading, geometric construction, sectioning, auxiliary views, detail and assembly drawings.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES exist as drafter, engineering technician, mechanical engineer, industrial designer, architect, and construction superintendent.
