Diesel Power Technology

We are a National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified Medium/Heavy Truck Secondary Program through National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and recognized Heavy Equipment Secondary Program through Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation (AED) with Applied Academics and Industry Support.  

The Diesel Power Technology program prepares the student to service and repair a wide variety of diesel powered vehicles and equipment. Coursework provides training in: the inspection, diagnosis, repair and service of diesel engines, brakes, suspensions & steering; electrical/electronic systems; heating, ventilation & air conditioning; preventative maintenance inspection; and hydraulic systems.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES includes position as diesel technicians and specialists, as well as business ownership.
