The Center of Applied Technology North strongly encourages students to continue education and training beyond high school. Through industry experience, CATN students learn the value of continuing education/skills training as a way to achieving career goals and to finding success in a chosen field.
Maryland State Department of Education and CATN have agreements with various colleges and technical schools, which allow students the possibility of earning college credit while completing Career Courses at CATN.

*Articulated Credit is awarded by review of course grades and certification testing
*Proficiency Credit is awarded based on passing scores on a proficiency test. This credit is transferable from Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) to other institutions of higher education.
