Automotive Collision Repair/Refinishing

This is an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Program by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).

The Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing program provides an opportunity for students to learn how to read schematics, evaluate auto body damage and estimate repair costs. 

Shop experiences include instruction for straightening metals with a frame machine; welding; working with fiberglass, plastics, and solvents; preparing surfaces using sanding techniques, body filler, and glazing putty; and finishing with primer/paint mixing and spraying.

 CAREER OPPORTUNITIES for students include technician and restorer positions available in garages and dealerships, insurance estimator, auto parts sales, custom detailing, business owner.
